The babies will be on their feet within an hour after birth and begin nursing immediately.     During this time, their growth and maturity is rapid as they explore their new habitat. They curious by nature and almost immediately begin to learn about their environment through play and interactions with other members of the herd. These activities include playing games such as chasing each other around or mock fighting which help them build confidence and self-awareness while strengthening bonds among herds.
