ON THE SNEAK......LYNX defining features are the prominent TUFFS of hair above their ears, and their short stubby tails.  The LYNX has keen hearing and uses it to sneak up on its prey it can't even see. Their feet are webbed and wide, acting as specialized shoes that distribute their weight effectively. This allows them to hunt in deep snow! Lynx are indeed skilled hunters, known for their stealth and ability to take down prey much larger than themselves. There have been recorded instances where a CANADIAN LYNX successfully attacked and killed a full-grown MULE DEER. These events showcase the lynx’s hunting prowess, as they can silently stalk their prey and use their agility and powerful limbs to secure a meal.

The plate features a lush spring grass with a burst of delicate wildflowers that compliments the eyepopping colors.
