PARTING WAYS......THIS SWEET SCENE DEPICTS A MULE DEER BUCK, DOE AND NEWBORN FAWN, WITH TREES WHOSE LEAVES HAVE BEGUN TO TURN BRIGHT GREEN WITH THE VIBRANT SPRING COLORS. THE BUCK IS HEADING TO THE EVERGREEN FOREST TO HIS BACHELOR HERD AND THE FAWN IS TUCKED UNDER AN ASPEN WHILE DOE KEEPS A QUIET EYE ON HER BABY. THE FAWN HAS NEWBORN SPOTS THAT REALISTICLY DEPICT A NEWBORN.  Males and females sometimes form common herds in winter, but they segregate in spring. The spotted fawns hide for over a month. When the mother doe gives birth in the spring, her fawn or fawns have a ruddy-brown fur. The fur bears white spots, mottled here and there on a fawn’s back, mimicking shafts of light and shadow among trees. This fur protects the fawn from the eyes of predators and passers-by as camouflage. 

As the spring wears on, females and fawns began to come together and spend their time in small groups. These are named “nurseries” where the does drop their fawns together before moving on to graze taking advantage of a unified herd to protect their babies. At the same time Bucks leave and form Bachelor groups until the fall rut.

We use a heavy 14-gauge steel, heat treat it for the extraordinary color to come out and finally powder coat with multiple colors. To achieve the very detailed wall 3D art we bolt a unique second plate to give the scene added depth and character. The plate features a lush spring grass with a burst of delicate purple flowers that compliments the eyepopping colors. Both lighting and shadows create a unique mesmerizing effect This would be a great gift for any occasion or collection and will be a lasting heirloom for any family. No two are alike and very unique.
